Overview:
Written by the breakout author Dr. John Mayfield (a chiropractor by profession with a passion for health on all levels) the ‘Body Intelligence’ book is his labor of love. He writes with total insight and candor about “How to ‘THINK’ outside (your) brain and connect to (your) multi-dimensional self.”
Challenge:
Dr. Mayfield wanted to develop a warm and consistent interpretation of his book ‘Body Intelligence’ for a website to promote and sell the publication. It was important to create a serene and spiritual atmosphere which would fuse seamlessly with his whole health philosophy. The challenge for Razzberry Media was to develop a creative expression for communication of these ideals.
Solution:
Razzberry Media’s solution was to make a strategic evaluation of the book’s subject matter and it’s existing artwork. The design of the layout takes it’s cues from the visual style of the book cover, and expands upon them to evoke the wellness ideas espoused by Dr. Mayfield. The header, a relaxing shade of aquamarine, is the backdrop for tranquil floating spectral highlights. An illustration of a person with the head of a classic light-bulb denotes our body’s intelligence, yet still has heart. Special attention to the balance between heart and mind was given and the heart was highlighted by red shading in order to draw attention that very important region.
